We are Hetas woodburning installers in Weston-super Mare. This lastest project invovles installing a Ecosy Panoramic SIA approved wood burning stove.
The customer enlarged their fireplace recess and installed a concrete reinforced lintel, which we then fire boarded and laid a 30mm slate hearth to complete the look.
Typical off the shelf slate sizes, which are generally in stock are as follows.
1200 x 900mm
1200 x 900mm
1500 x 900mm
1800 x 900mm
The recess was fairly narrow and so we had to use a rear adaptor off the back of the stove in order for vitreous pipe to to connect to the flexi-flue liner adaptor.
The Ecosy Panoramic woodburner is a excellent quality, good value stove and meets the new SIA regulations due to be enforced in 2020. It is a Defra approved stove with a 5″ spigot allowing a 5″ liner to be used. The Ecosy Panoramic is 560mm and can easily take a 300mm log.
